Breaking Bad News – Thursday 09/15/11 Edition

A bit of housekeeping today.  If you like Jersey Shore, the Bald Move B-Team will be posting their take on the new episode tonight around midnight.  How’s THAT for turnaround?  Also, we’ve created a redirect for our Amazon affiliate link to make it easier to use/remember.  If you enter in amazon.baldmove.com you will automatically be redirected to Amazon, and anything you purchase on that visit will help support our site.  Again, it costs you nothing, you shop on Amazon anyway, we’d really appreciate it.

This first news item represents spoilers of the highest order.  If you click the link, you’re going to see the titles, and a 2-3 paragraph description of what happens in each of the remaining episodes of Breaking Bad, with the exception of the final episode 413.  I’m linking you to the description for 409 “Bug” that came out last week, so if you want to dip your toes in the water you can do so without being spoiled.  If you navigate to any of the other episodes that are listed to the left, you’re deciding you want to be at least somewhat spoiled.  I’d say these are more spoilery than the short descriptions we read a few weeks ago on the spoiler section of the cast, but not as spoilery as a full script.  You find out what happens, but not how or why, if that makes sense.  Again, you can click on that link and see how they describe “Bug” and decide if you want to read that level of detail on any of the other episodes.  The choice is yours!

I found a new Breaking Bad t-shirt for sale on Bluebutter.com, if you’re into that sort of thing.

Zap2It reveals the title of episode 412.  Since some might consider THAT a spoiler, you’ll have to click through to find out.

We got some feedback yesterday calling us out for our liking of listener Mark’s theory that perhaps Gale was the original backup plan to teach the cartel to cook meth if it came to that.  We called the theory “un-falsifiable”.  A few listeners said that Gus ordered Mike to kill Walt at the end of season 3, which casts doubt on that theory.  This seems correct, except I couldn’t remember when Gus approached Gale about if he could cook without Walt.  I though it was around the midpoint of the season, before team Gus and team Walt had their falling out.  I wish we had more time to get stuff like that right, but oh well.  That’s part of the “Breaking Good” experience, calling us on our bullshit!

That’s it for today.  Email usTweet at uslike us on Facebook, we read and love it all.  It really keeps us and the podcast humming.  If you want to show your support, we always appreciate iTunes reviews/subscriptions, and your participation in our Amazon affiliate program.
