National Treasure (2004)

Conspiracy theorists rejoice, we’re covering your favorite movie. Everyone else, we know it’s in your top ten, don’t deny it. It’s got everything: clues, conspiracy, and the most toned-down Nic Cage performance on record. With the breakneck speed plot points you don’t have time to ask, “Does this actually make sense?” It’s good fun for all ages, which you don’t see a lot of anymore, so props to this movie. If you’re not enjoying it, you’re thinking too hard. Stop it!

The Batman (2022)

The Batman is the darkest take on a Batman movie yet. It’s also a familiar Batman story, with some minor updates and a few twists. Uncharted (2022)

Uncharted is getting pretty awful reviews and we think we know why. Mark Wahlberg. He’s just a bad Sully and doesn’t seem particularly interested in being in what is an otherwise competent National Treasure-style action movie. It feels very similar to the series of games and the set pieces were enjoyable enough to keep us engaged, with maybe one exception.
