Tentacles, spiders, and flying bugs. Oh my! When a mysterious mist rolls into town, a group of people trapped in a grocery store come into conflict with the dangerous creatures outside and the growing tension inside. Sounds crazy? Sure is! But we had plenty of parts of this movie that we really liked. Aside from a bit of the good old horror movie stupidity, it’s an engaging movie. Director Frank Darabont created a new ending that made Stephen King himself jealous, so yeah, it’s pretty dark.

Jim cries “stupefy” to get this movie away from him. But A.Ron casts “protego” and defends the movie. Directed by Alfonso Cuarón, who has helmed many decorated dramas, and based on the book series by she-who-must-not-be-named, this movie takes a darker look at the whimsical world of Harry Potter.

The season finale is here and it was a hit and a miss. There were some strong plot choices that we’re looking forward to continuing in the next season. But characters are making choices that seem, well, out of character. The women at Lottie’s compound have some hard decisions to make. Walter continues to be an entertaining enigma. We still don’t know who the pit girl is, but we’re running out of teenagers.
