S03E08 – The Instant White Hot Wild

Ouch. A lot of people avoided becoming chunky salsa, and we’re actually disappointed. The episode had to pack in A LOT of information to wrap up the season full of psychopaths and potential patricide. Between the smackdowns, The Deep’s stoic murder felt too tame and that’s when we know that The Boys has corrupted our brains. And, um, where did Stan Edgar go?! Next season looks like it might be a return to a similar place as Season 2.

Fans of Old Trek admired the show for its unique personality, but now Star Trek and all of its spinoffs have gone the way of the blockbuster. With uninspired action set pieces, unnecessary character trauma, and nonsensical behavior of Star Fleet Officers, we’re really missing Classic Trek. The intellectual heritage got blown away by the lens flares. Let’s explore the universe, not have another CGI battle.
