Francis Ford Coppola swung for the fences on this project. Megalopolis (2024) is a large, star-studded cast of people you know and love. The sci-fi, the drama, and the acting all have highs and lows through the film. Without the benefit of foresight, it’s hard to know exactly how this movie will impact the audiences of the future. But in the present, it just seems like Coppola thinks you’re a bit slow.

A big wig in the NSA needs to cover his tracks and Will Smith gets caught in the middle. The fight for privacy will feel familiar and depressing. To distract you from that, there’s a great cat actor.
