309 – “The Blessed Dark”

A.Ron and Cecily are sharply divided on their opinions for the series shotgun finale, episode 309, “The Blessed Dark”. A.Ron would have preferred a more open ended finale that didn’t try to make half-assed an attempt to bring the series to an epic and apocalyptic conclusion, while Cecily appreciates the creative jam the team was apparently other and is thankful that they made the best of the situation they had at hand. Regardless of our personal feelings, this is the end for Showtime’s Penny Dreadful, and we the television watching public are the poorer for it. What did you think?
