Oh boy, the community is divided over this episode. Turns out, so is our podcast. Join us for a discussion of S05E07 “Gotron Jerrysis Rickvangelion” which is either a perfect example of why the haters don’t deserve anymore Rick and Morty or a perfect example of why the latest season is complete crap, depending on which type of toxic fan you are.

1020 – Splinter

It’s a journey into the mind of Princess this episode with her, Zeke, Eugene and Yumiko are captured being thrown into cells and having to decide whether to try to escape or take the abuse in the name of establishing friendly relations with the stormtroopers. It’s not the most exciting episode of The Walking Dead but it’s a bonus episode… was anyone expecting it would be?

1018 – Find Me

The second of the season 10 bonus episodes wasn’t quite as good as the first. Definitely more in line with what we expected from these episodes. S05E05 – Amortycan Grickfitti

It’s debatable who’s raising more hell this week, Rick’s joyriding car or the cenobites who are feeding off of Jerry’s cringe. We’re mixed on this episode but where we do agree is that it’s definitely better than the last one. Check out the podcast for more thoughts on Amortycan Grickfitti.

S05E04 – Rickdependence Spray

The internet is cursing this episode for a whole bunch of reasons. They don’t think it was funny, It had little-to-no  continuity with the rest of the series, and they apparently find the concept of incest babies extremely offensive. Check out the podcast to find out what we thought.

1017 – Home Sweet Home

The marketing around these 6 episodes really had us confused before seeing the first one. I mean, are they or aren’t they part of season 10? Oh, the AMC announcement says they’re not? Then why does every place that makes these available, INCLUDING YOUR OWN WEBSITE, say they’re episodes 17 – 22 of season 10? Maybe you can understand why we thought they’d be completely extraneous viewing. We were pleasantly surprised, however. This first one at least, seems to be connecting to the larger story that we’re likely to see in season 11. Join us for the podcast to hear all about The Walking Dead season 10, EPISODE 17, Home Sweet Home.

S05E03 – A Rickconvenient Mort

People are doing their due diligence but, unlike Earth’s supply of aluminum, there might not be much to mine from this episode as far as the Rick and Morty canon goes. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t enjoyable though. Join us for discussions about teenage angst, eco-terorrism, and gay sex with your father on this week’s Pickle Me This podcast.
